Gen2 Owners

You own a Vue Gen2. Here is where everything you need still lives.

Gen2 is discontinued and we no longer sell it. That does not mean your monitor stops working, and it does not mean we stop helping you. Gen2 units continue to run on the same Emporia app, with the same free access, for as long as Emporia supports them.

The one compatibility fact that matters

Gen2 sensors do not fit a Gen3 monitor. Gen2 sensors terminate in a 3.5 mm plug; Gen3 uses screw terminal blocks. They are not interchangeable in either direction. An upgrade from Gen2 means a complete new sensor set as well as a new monitor.

If you are thinking about Gen3

Reasons to upgrade: you need a wired Ethernet connection because Wi-Fi does not reach your board; you want CT leads cut to length for an awkward panel; you want DIN-rail mounting.

Reasons not to: your Gen2 works and is connected. Both generations measure to ±2%, both support solar, and both run on the same app. A working Gen2 is not an inferior instrument.
