For Solar & Net-Metering Owners

Your inverter says one thing. Your net meter says another. The bill arrives a month later.

Generation, self-consumption, import and export — measured separately and continuously, from your own sensors.

What changes

  • A record of your own. Generation measured at the inverter output, independent of what the inverter's app reports.
  • Watch export happen, in real time, instead of reading about it as one net figure per cycle.
  • Self-consumption made visible. The units you never buy are worth more than the units you export — and you cannot optimise what you cannot see.
  • Shift loads to the sun. Run the geyser, the pump, the washing machine while you are generating. The data tells you when.
  • Catch a failing string early. Generation that quietly drops off is invisible until the bill. Set an alert.

Where the sensors go

Main CTs on the incoming phases, between the utility supply and where the inverter output joins the board. Branch CTs on the inverter's AC output — one per phase. Direction is handled in the app's Bi-Directional mode; sensors are never physically reversed. Full detail: Solar & net metering.

What this is, and what it is not

The Vue lets you compare your own measurement against your net meter. It is not an approved billing instrument — no BIS certification, no standing with your DISCOM. Expect a difference of a couple of percent from the ±2% tolerance alone. Use it to know when something needs investigating.

Solar that connects on the supply side of your board cannot be measured — establish the inverter's connection point before ordering.

What a rooftop owner usually orders

The 8-sensor model at ₹32,500 — three channels to the inverter output, five for the loads worth shifting into daylight hours.
